The Knot Best of Weddings Reviews: 2020 Wrap

To start the New Year, we would like to express our appreciation for our amazing couples, clients, and fellow vendors who got us through 2020. We were able to be a part of some incredible events and create amazing memories. If we learned one thing, it’s that love isn’t canceled. Our couples enthusiasm helped boost us into The Knot Hall of Fame (!!) and we feel incredibly lucky to kick off the New Year with a pep in our step and hope for many love stories ahead! With that spirit, we’d like to share some of our favorite reviews from our lovely clients and fellow vendors!

“I can’t stress how amazing these guys were. We hired Lucky Devils to play at our reception after attending one of their showcases (where you can see many of the band members playing a variety of songs). From the beginning, they were friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. The price was lower than most of the other bands we got quotes from, and the music was better by far. My wife and I are big planners, and we couldn’t have been more satisfied with how they noted every detail. Our wedding happened to coincide with the pandemic, so as things seemed to be falling apart they were there as a pillar of support, making our lives easier rather than harder. When the day came, the music blew everyone away. Every musician who played for us was amazingly talented and unbelievably friendly. I could go on and on, but the main point is this – if you are looking for a band to play for a wedding, bar mitzvah, large corporate event or even your pet’s birthday party – hire these guys. I promise you won’t regret it.”

“I hired the Lucky Devils Band for my daughter’s wedding in Sedona. They were professional, on time, high energy and excellent musicians/vocalists. I can’t tell you how many guests came up to me during and after the reception to tell me that the Lucky Devils Band was the best wedding/party band they had ever heard. “The Lucky Devils were absolutely OUTSTANDING! They did a great job of capturing all the music we like, but also giving guests great stuff to dance to. Seriously our guests did not stop dancing the entire night, and that was due to their amazing performance and song choice. We were so happy that they were able to play so many of our favorites, and they even invited our cousin to play bass with them for a song which was a major highlight. There were a couple things we forgot to mention on our planning page, but our emcee did a great job of making sure everything we wanted happened throughout the night– including an impromptu nod to John Williams with a Jurassic Park interlude. Your band or DJ is such an important part of the night, and the Lucky Devils were perfection from planning to execution.”

“We honestly don’t even know where to begin here. As we prepared for our wedding, we either wanted a great band or a good DJ, and so the search began. Pricing took some candidates out and others didn’t hit the quality we were looking for. Then we came across the Lucky Devils Band and we immediately knew we were onto something. We decided to sign them as a 7-piece band right away for our wedding date. The process was extremely easy, and you’re given an online band page to fill out the information you need and any notes you’d like to add in there. The whole process, from first communication to final pre-wedding chat was easy, relaxed and, most importantly, fun. We can’t speak highly enough about how polished their process is – it’s clear that they’ve done this before. The band was nothing short of perfect on our wedding day. We simply guided the music selection with what genres we wanted and didn’t want, and they took on the rest. They rolled with the punches with us, never pressured or stressed, and made sure every step of the day was executed perfectly. They rocked out and our guests couldn’t keep off of the dance floor, and they happily played to the crowd the whole time. We can’t emphasize enough how amazing the music was, but also how amazing the MCing and coordination were. Our day wouldn’t have been as perfect as it was without them.
